• University of Colorado Summer Student Cancer Fellowship Program
  • This program has been used by a number of CSU-Pueblo students. They have research primarily in the Denver/Boulder area but some projects around the state.
• McNair Scholars Program at Colorado State University
  • Another program CSU-Pueblo students have used in the past. Research is done at CSU during the summer and you can get college credit for the program.
• University of Maryland School of Medicine
  • maintains a website for their programs and other intership and summer programs throughout the country.
• California Institute of Technology Research Fellowships
• Cornell University has three programs of interest
  • Gateways Program-ten week program allows freshman and sophomore underrepresented minority students to experience life as a MD-PhD
  • The Travelers Summer Program is for juniors interested in a medical career
  • The Avon Summer Program is for freshman, sophomore and junior URMs
    interested in pursuing the PhD or MD-PhD degree.
